The Xbox 360 received a system update today implementing a number of features showcased to Xbox 360 Preview program members earlier this month including one of the most requested features voted on at the Xbox Feedback website for larger external storage for the Xbox 360. Select your network, and then choose Network Statistics.

Password reset – You can now reset your password by selecting Forgot your password? Network statistics – View download speed, upload speed, and signal strength, go to Settings Network Settings.

I try to download the update and it gives me a message telling me to check my xbox live connection, I know for sure its fine but it still wont let me update and keeps giving me the same message that the update failed. It keeps prompting the update and then when I hit "Yes, update now" it takes me to a black screen that says "Cant download the update.

That didnt work, then I tried signing in with my profile, that prompted me to update and that seemed to work. But thanks for your input, its appreciated none the [email protected]: still not working for me.

Or maybe it just works now because MS just fixed it now. Im not having a problem downloading the update, I'm having a problem getting the download to start at all.
